Going Deeper Into Joins

Most people understand Joins in T-SQL - it's a 101 thing. But there is so much more to them, and understanding what's really going on can help you write better T-SQL and troubleshoot more effectively. This is definitely not a level 100 talk.

In this talk, Rob will look at the different types of physical join and the different types of logical join - even accidental joins, when you really didn't mean to join anything at all. Examples will be given of when these joins are used effectively and when they are used badly, showing you clues to help you determine when things are good and when they're bad.
